This is an eyeballed-copy painted for educational purposes - not a trace - of a classical piece by Albrecht Durer, titled "A Hare" from 1502.
I wanted to share my watercolor assignment for the simple reason that I like how it came out. I took a different approach to it than Durer had, however, shifting the pose and increasing the shadows. I also have no idea how he managed to have such careful fur-strokes in watercolor, so I improvised. About 4 hours on Bristol. |
