Update: Fixed some rivers, emphasized the canyons, changed the outline color... I decided against highlighting the rivers, seeing as they're not something that are going to be easily seen on a realistic map.
So this is the flat, unlabeled, un-tiled, unmarked version of the new world map. By new, I mean I re-drew it, but nothing drastic has changed. I added in a lot of the minor rivers and changed the shape of the overall layout some. I'll be making a tiled version available for the community, as well as one specifically for towns, villages, and cities, one specifically for packs, and one labeling regions and rivers... oh, right, and one for climate.
8 hours without marking it. I followed this amazing tutorial... here it is:
[link] It was super time consuming, and I had to change a lot to make it work for a 300 DPI, large-scale version. (My poor suffocating computer!) but it was a fantastic help.

I'm having a harder time picking out the Dreyscar and the gap in the mountains that was south of it in the old version. Is the Dreyscar the darker streak, now girded north and south by mountains?
I may end up moving Edge to the top of that shore valley, where the short river is, with the shift in terrain. It's not supposed to be a mountain town XD But a mountain pass town would work, and the river would give quick access to the sea and whatever port is at the delta. When it was first founded Edge was the town at the edge of "civilized" existence. Beyond them thar mountains is WILD LANDS! Or, was. XD
Will there be a combo version showing settlements *and* packs? I think being able to see both on the same map would be good for clarity.
Settlements and packs? Sure.
I had a bit of a hard time with the rivers myself, couldn't get them to look nice, but then again you wouldn't be able to see the small rivers in an atlas, so...
You got a very nice result!
Thank you!
